HOW TO MAKE ENCHILADAS | Enchilada Sauce Recipe | Tex Mex Enchiladas Recipe

Here is an easy and delicious homemade Tex Mex enchiladas recipe. The easy red enchilada sauce and beefy cheesy goodness will make this a family favorite. This goes great with a side of Mexican rice and charro beans. I have read your comments from my older Tex Mex enchilada recipe and have redone my video. Hope you like it! 🙂

INGREDIENTS
1 lb ground beef (I use 85/15)
1/4 cup diced onions (I grated mine)
2 garlic cloves minced
1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
pepper to taste
14 to 16 corn tortillas
8 oz block Colby Jack cheese (or 3 to 3 1/2 cups pre-shredded)

RED SAUCE INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup oil
4 tbsp all purpose flour
3 tbls chili powder **EDIT 2 tbsp for less spice
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 Knorr Chicken buillon cube
2 1/2 cups water *EDIT* 2 cups water for thicker sauce
**You can substitute the bullion cube and water with
2 1/2 cups (2 cups broth for thicker sauce) of chicken stock or broth
