Part One: GREEN IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT! (How to juice as if your life depends on it…)
Welcome to my channel. I am a middle aged housewife on a health journey that began in early 2016. In the 13 months since, I have lost 85 pounds and have experienced some radical changes in my life. It began with a vision board and a goal to start a 100 day juice feast and eventually buy a Norwalk juicer, all of which I did. I developed a green juice during my feast that I believe has been instrumental in my healing. I call it “Green It Like You Mean It” because I really do! I moved on to smoothies after the 100 days feast, and eventually adopted a plant based diet, but green juices are still like manna to me. I feel myself heal and come alive when I have fresh pressed living juices!

Green It Like You Mean It
1.5 lbs greens (spinach/kale/chard, etc)
1 “tub” sprouts (I used spicy broccoli sprouts)
2 bell peppers, one red, one green
6 whole cucumbers
1 head of celery
4 Granny Smith apples (small)
2 large bunches of cilantro
1 large bunch of parsley
1 large piece of ginger (see video)
2 fingers of turmeric
16 carrots, remove ends if not fresh and green, otherwise juice the tops as well
2 large lemons, one peeled, one whole
4 oranges, peeled
2 t spirulina & 1 t chlorella
3/4 t C Salts
This recipe took 75 minutes to complete and yielded 1.5 gallons of juice.
